I am the middle child of The George & Barbara Henderson family. My family was the first black family to own a house in Norman, Oklahoma in 1969. All of us children went to University School on South Base at that time. There are six girls and my brother George Jr. who passed away last year from a long battle with cancer. ng. I turned out okay in spite of myself!!! Most of my family is still there, I have one sister living in Dallas and then there's me out here in Arizona. To be precise I'm only about 8 miles from the Mexican border. I have a son that came later in life, he goes to school in Norman at Lincoln. He lives with his dad there, Tim Burnett. There's more, but I'll add to this more soon.
